After leaving school, avoiding university and following a long line of family traders, James Bentley started his career in the financial markets for a world leading trading intermediary specialising in financial and commodities markets in 2009.
Working alongside some of the best traders in the industry who were facilitating trades on behalf of the world’s leading institutions. James’ career quickly progressed and after 4 years he decided to leave the boom and bust of the city and continue developing a simple trading system he could use throughout the European market open each day to profit from the financial markets anywhere in the world.
Over the years James has taught his highly in demand trading strategies all over the world to aspiring traders.
Understanding different cultures, personalities & goals from people all over the world has helped James develop first class education and mentoring programmes tailored to suit anyone serious in achieving their financial goals through trading the financial markets.

James’s reputation in the industry quickly grew, he was one of very few traders who had the confidence to put their reputation on the line and trade live, in front of large audiences, with real capital in some of the most volatile trading sessions.
With growing demand in learning James’ trading style he co-founded Financial Markets Online in 2018, it quickly went on to become the UK’s #1 rated trader trainer institute.

James and his trading team trade a variety of asset classes and strategies, although his favourite strategy catches directional momentum around the European open based on identifying the strength of currencies at that time, which means his trading day typically finishes around 9am GMT. This trading style creates freedom to enjoy the finer things in life and look out for ambitious traders to welcome into the trading community with the ability to fund consistent traders once educated up to £2M on a profit share.
Financial Markets Online run accredited trader training programmes for all levels of experience, including beginners with zero experience. The courses range up to Ofqual regulated Level 5 Advanced Diplomas in Financial Trading, equivalent to receiving a UK degree.
